Istanbul, Türkiye – 26 July 2023 – Cem Zorlular, CEO of Er-Kim Pharmaceuticals, an international pharmaceutical company specializing in the commercialization of novel therapies, recently participated in President Tayyip Erdoğan’s three-stop tour of Persian Gulf states to strengthen diplomatic, trade and investment ties. The trip included business forums in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates and took place from July 17-19.
Accompanying President Erdoğan were the Turkish Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Energy and Natural Resources, National Defense, Industry and Technology, and Trade. Zorlular was part of a delegation of business professionals operating in Turkey and the Gulf, representing various industries.
Zorlular, who is an executive board member of the Türkiye-Switzerland Business Council of DEiK, the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Boards, said, “It was an honor to have been invited to take part in this important event in support of advancing strong relationships between these key regional partners.
